Worship Services at 10:00 a.m.
Worship is an integral part of any church. We believe that worship should be passionate and should connect the heart and mind to the presence of the living Jesus Christ. It is not something that happens automatically but must be intentional. We make a conscious effort to allow for the variety of tastes and interests of members to be met through worship while understanding that Sundays are not a time for a 'cafeteria' experience.
Blended Worship
We strive to blend our service of worship and use both traditional 'Methodist' hymns and more modern praise music. Our worship leader guides us in singing and we make an effort to teach new music regularly. We have a choir that sings from September-May and special music occurs throughout the year. We also have a children's bell choir that plays throughout the year. Preaching is informal and interactive with the congregation. We don't want people to feel like spectators in worship. Our desire is to see everyone participate regardless of age.
At Union United Methodist Church, we welcome everyone of whatever background. All faiths, denominations, and ethnic backgrounds are welcome at all of our functions -- we hope that our Christian ministry will inspire you to begin or deepen a relationship with Christ.
